What is the Questions tool?

Cut through the unnecessary noise and show clients exactly what they need to see to demonstrate a candidate's suitability for the role.

Question’s are short videos of the candidate answering specific questions to easily assess suitability and compare candidates fairly and quickly. This is a great tool for time-short clients and those who are eager to ensure the removal of any bias from their hiring process.m.

By adding questions into your processes, you will give your clients exposure into your candidates soft skills and cultural fit which is something a CV or Resume can rarely do. This will result in hiring managers making decisions and you making placements a lot quicker.

Where can I use the Questions feature?

There are so many uses for this feature, it's actually one of the most versatile features on our platform. Here's a few examples:

Example Questions:

  • Ask the candidate questions about their experience. Pair this video with a CV that you can send to the hiring manager to bring their profile to life.
Example Question: "Tell me about your experience"

  • Questions is also a great tool to prompt feedback from your hiring managers on candidates you have in the process. Alternatively, you can ask your candidates to give you their feedback on the interview so you can send it back to the hiring manager.

Example Question: "How do you feel your interview with John went?" "How interested are you in working for XXXX?"

  • You can also ask candidates about particular things on their CV like a relevant project or qualification. This works especially well when the question relates to one of the requirements of the position.

Example Question: "Are you ACA qualified through a big four firm?"

  • Questions can also be a huge game changer when it comes to overcoming objections.

Let's imagine your client has rejected one of your candidates at CV submission stage over a concern about their experience. You can use Questions to get the candidate to elaborate and overcome the concerns.

Example Question: "Please elaborate on your management experience - highlight how many people you were responsible for and what the key responsibilities were."

  • You can also use questions to get testimonials from your candidates. These can be used as marketing material.

Example Question: "How did you find working with Hinterview Resourcing?"

"I was doing business development for a client I had been chasing for 3 years but couldn't seem to turn them into a client until I emailed them an example of candidate questions. I am now working with them exclusively and have made around £10,000 with the client with 1 department, I am now trying to win the rest of the business based on this." - Senior Consultant
