What is Hintro?

Hintro is your outbound sales tool designed to help you increase your monthly billings and personal commission. It will help you to automate your outreach, pitch prospects, and find highly placeable candidates without losing the personal touch.

There are many different types of Hintros but we like to start with two: personalised and generic. By the end of this module, you’ll know when to use both and how to start using video to win in recruitment.

You also have two routes to create a Hintro - the first is recording your camera and the second is recording your screen.

Here's what the finished product looks like.

Hintro is incredibly versatile however the main focus for this particular feature is business development and candidate attraction. By adding Hintro into your processes, you will increase your engagement with both candidates and hiring managers, make quicker placements and reduce the number of candidates dropping out of the process.

You will also receive real time analytics when people engage with your Hintros which will help you to work strategically and follow up with the right people first.

Hintros can be accessed anytime, anywhere, on any device making it easier for you to engage with those hard to reach hiring managers and candidates.

Top tip: Always remember just how important your supporting message is. Whether you're sending or posting the Hintro on LinkedIn or sending it via email, your message will determine whether or not your video will be clicked on.

Personalised Vs Generic

Generic Hintro's

Personalised videos will increase your engagement rate but they do take longer to record as you will be recording each one individually. It would be best to save these for lead chases and directly headhunting top level candidates.

Generic Hintros are also incredibly effective and will still increase your engagement rates. The difference is, you’re only taking one video out to market. This is a great way to tackle mass outreach. These would be good for virtual job ads, candidate specs and mailshots.

Top tip: You can also share your Hintro out with a GIF thumbnail. When you go to edit your thumbnail, simply flip the switch below and copy the link and thumbnail as you normally would.

Hintro for Business Development

Hintro is an integral tool for business development. Especially, for those who find cold calling tough. Hintro makes calls warmer and allows your clients to put a face to the name.

There are many ways you we can use Hintro for BD and we're always hearing of new and creative ways our clients are using this tool. The typical use cases are for chasing leads, speccing in candidates, sending "candidate of the week" videos and the list goes on. Check out some examples in our library.

Hintro also increases engagement with candidates.

Top tip: Headhunting with Hintro generates 4-5x greater engagement

You can use Hintro to headhunt candidates, share feedback and prep candidates for interviews. Candidates can watch videos in their own time which helps to streamline your process.
