This quick tutorial will show the Hintro functions Record Screen and Record Screen & Camera.
1 - You can access the Hintro features by either clicking the Hintro button on the main screen or via the side bar. Once inside the user can choose between Record Screen (without camera) or Record Screen & Camera. Both are similar options, with the exception of the later, which will show an extra small screen with the webcam capture.
2 - Once you've made your selection, click 'Start Recording' at the bottom of the screen.
3 - You'll then be given the option of what to record on screen:
1. This can be the whole screen
2. A specific window or program like Powerpoint
3. Directly the browser tab where Hinterview is open.
4. When selecting which screen to record, a preview will show,
5. Selecting it will enable the Share button below to become clickable.
Note: the camera window is it's own window. If in full-screen mode, look for your browser tab where your camera is and bring it to the front of your full-screen application. Some applications do not allow the camera window to appear when in full-screen mode.
4 - After pressing Share, if the webcam screen is disabled the below message will appear. Click the "Picture-In-Picture" mode button to enable the camera screen to show.
5. You're given a 3 second countdown to help you get started smoothly
When recording, you can pause and restart at any time by clicking the Pause/Resume button
The webcam screen is moveable and resizeable. Place it wherever you need by clicking and dragging.
Or resize by clicking a corner and expanding/contracting.
You may also stop sharing the screen by pressing the blue Stop Sharing button at the bottom.
6 - Click 'Finish recording', when you are done.
7 - Once the user stops the recording, the following screen will show, just as it shows for all other Hintro features, after the recording has finished. To submit press "Save and Upload".
8 - Edit, share or re-record as needed!
