How To - Hintro Campaign

A tutorial which shows how to send a Hintro to a wider audience. This feature also allows the user to retrieve analytics, which will aid in understanding how your Hintros impact your audiences.

1 - Sending a Hintro campaign is possible by selecting the Hintro from the Library (this option can be found by clicking on the Hintro title) - If you follow this path, please jump to number 4. Or simply go to Campaings - Hintro. Following the latest will take the user to the Hintro Campaigns library, where it is possible to find the button "New Hintro Campaign at the top-right-corner.

2 - The following page pops-up to insert a name for the campaign and add a subject to the email. Since the Campaign feature is sent as an email, this will populate a subject name for it. Once done, click Save.

3 - Time to add the audience. From the drop down menu (1) it is possible to target Candidates or Managers. It is possible to add an audience from Hinterview, a CSV File or an already saved list. Please, follow the button at the end of the page for a tutorial on how to create a CSV File.

4 - Once an audience has been added it can be saved (1) as a list to use later, deleted whole (2) or single contacts (3).

5 - Once an audience has been added, the "Email Content" section will show as below. The top box (1) is the first part of the email, including greeting phrase and opening line, which can be edited as wished. The below button (2) can be clicked to access the Hintro library. Once a Hintro has been chosen, move to the ending text, to write the sign-off. On the left, there is a preview section (4), which will allow the user to see how the email looks before sending. It is also possible to "Send Test Campaign" to yourself.

Please note: both boxes contain a greeting and sing-off code, This means it will populate the name of each recipient as previously inserted in the audience section. Tempering with this code might send the wrong names. Also note that if a test was sent, it will not populate the sender's name correctly and this is because the system does not have the Sender's first name to send as a Candidate. In essence, this means the system working well.

6 - To choose a Hintro, simply press the + button.

7 - After sending the Campaign, an analytics page will show. The user can also reach this page by simply choosing the campaign campaigns library.
