This quick tutorial will show you how to setup your Outlook calendar integration to allow the Hintel Notetaker to join your meetings, record, and provide summaries.

  1. Ensure you have a subscription that includes Hintel. If not, speak to your CSM or contact our support team directly via in app messaging at the bottom right of the window.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Hintel

If you don't yet have a Microsoft integration setup, you'll be prompted to do so with a message like this:

Integrate with Outlook and Teams.

You may be prompted to login to your Microsoft account, like the screenshot below. This is normal.

Microsoft login screen

You may be prompted to approve Hinterviews' access to your email and OneDrive (the latter to access your Teams recordings).

Please note: Your company's Microsoft Administrator may have placed restrictions on access by 3rd party applications (such as Hinterview).

If this is the case, a Microsoft webpage will alert you to speak to you admin, who will need to give access.

Once the integration is done you should be redirected back to Hinterview.

3. Setup the Calendar integration by selecting the Microsoft Calendar Integration > Connect button .

Hintel settings screen

Once complete you'll receive a success message and the screen will update to:

Hintel settings with Microsoft Calendar successfully integrated

Congratulations - your now setup and after a brief syncing period, your Hintel notetaker will now join all meetings in your calendar that you have setup.
